We collect information you provide directly: your name, username, profile photo (via Google or Apple sign-in), workout logs, calorie entries, and food images submitted for AI analysis. We also collect device push notification tokens and basic usage data.
Your data is used to operate Benched: displaying activity to your Circles, computing leaderboards, sending push notifications, and analyzing food images for calorie estimation. We do not sell your personal data.
Your workout and calorie logs are visible to members of your Circles. This is the core function of the App. Food images are processed via third-party AI services (AWS Bedrock) and stored on Cloudflare R2. Authentication is handled by Clerk.
Your data is stored on secure servers (Railway, Cloudflare). We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us.
We send push notifications for circle activity and silence detection alerts. You can disable these in your device settings at any time.
We use Clerk (authentication), AWS Bedrock (AI image analysis), Cloudflare R2 (image storage), Railway (database hosting), and Expo (push notifications). Each service has its own privacy policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@getbenched.app.
We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email.
